Tree of Life & Memories
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH NEWFOUNDLAND POWER
NOVEMBER 17, 2021 - JANUARY 6, 2022
The Burin Peninsula Health Care Foundation Board of Directors, in partnership with NL Power, invites you to share in the magic of the season with us.
Tree of Life & Memories:
Our annual Tree of Life & Memories Campaign will begin with the official lighting of our Christmas Tree on November 17th, 2021 at 7pm. In order to ensure the safety of the children, families and volunteers, our Tree Lighting ceremony will be held via Facebook LIVE once again this year, and can be viewed through our Facebook page. We invite you to gather with your family, cuddle up with a cup of hot chocolate, and join us virtually as we celebrate the start of the Christmas season.
Every year, the Annual Tree of Life & Memories shines bright throughout the Christmas season until Old Christmas Day. Lighting a tribute bulb on our Tree of Life & Memories is a special way to remember your loved ones, honor memories close to your heart, or celebrate a healthcare worker.
If you would like to light a tribute bulb, please click "Light a Tribute Bulb" above, or call our office at 891-3456. All names and memories submitted will be displayed at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center and on our Facebook page throughout the Christmas Season.
Adopt A Resident:
They say the joy is in the giving... This Christmas, spread the joy of the season by Adopting a Resident at one of our Long Term Care Facilities, right here at home on the Burin Peninsula.
A donation of $25 will give a Christmas present to one long-term care resident living at either US Memorial Long Term Care Facility in St. Lawrence, or Blue Crest Nursing Home in Grand Bank.
A special thank you to Eastern Health staff at the BPHCC, US Memorial and Blue Crest Nursing Home for their "Secret Santa" work. Because of them, each Christmas gift will be personally chosen based on the needs of each individual resident and hand delivered before Christmas.
If you would like to adopt a resident, please click "Adopt A Resident" above, or call our office at 891-3456.
The Burin Peninsula Health Care Foundation Board of Directors and staff wishes to take this opportunity to extend a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours this holiday season. We thank you for your continued support of local healthcare initiatives on the Burin Peninsula.
Warmest wishes at Christmas and always.
2020 Tree of Life & Memories.
In 2020, our tree lighting ceremony was held virtually via a Facebook Live event on our Facebook page. Even though we seemed farther apart, your donations in memory and in celebration of loved ones raised over $6,000 for local health care initiatives.
