Radiothon 2026

"Home Is Where the Heart Is"

Our Radiothon brings the Burin Peninsula together to strengthen healthcare close to home.

Each year, community members, businesses, and healthcare supporters unite for one powerful afternoon of stories, gratitude, and generosity. Together, we raise funds that enhance patient care, support families, and equip our hospitals with the tools they need.

Join us on Wednesday, May 27th for our annual Radiothon in partnership with VOCM Cares. Tune in live from 12–4 PM on 88.3 VOCM as stories, gratitude, and community voices come together in support of local healthcare.

Last year, Radiothon raised over $150,000 to support healthcare programs, patient care, and equipment across the Burin Peninsula!  We thank you for your continued support.

Because Home is More Than A Place...

Across the Burin Peninsula, care is strengthened every day by the generosity of our community.

  • Through modern equipment that keeps care close to home.
  • Through programs that support patients and families.
  • And through the dedicated healthcare professionals who care for us when we need it most.

Home Is Where the Heart Is.

Throughout the month of May, our “Home Is Where the Heart Is” campaign invites community members to celebrate the people and moments that make healthcare feel like home.

When you make a Radiothon donation, you may include a short personalized message to:

  • Honour someone special
  • Remember a loved one
  • Thank a healthcare professional
  • Share why local healthcare matters to you

Selected messages will be shared throughout May and during the Radiothon broadcast.

All messages will be displayed on our Facebook page, and selected messages will be read aloud during our Radiothon.
