Marystown Summer Games Building

 Our 2025 Radiothon is coming up on Wednesday, May 28th from 12pm to 4pm in partnership with the VOCM Cares Foundation! Tune into VOCM during our event to hear local healthcare stories and learn how your donations continue to enhance local healthcare on the Burin Peninsula.

This year, our Radiothon will be raising funds to support the following projects on the Burin Peninsula:

A new Point-of-Care Ultrasound System for the Obstetrical Department at the BPHC, assisting moms and babies during assessments or induction of labour.

Upgrades to the Palliative Care Room at Blue Crest Nursing Home, creating a holistic space that supports residents, families and caregivers.

A Bladder Scanner for the US Memorial Long-Term Care Facility, helping to assess and determine the need for catheterization in long-term care residents and dementia patients.

Our Patient Comfort & Care Program, assisting local patients in need with medical transportation assistance, including gas and meal cards, taxi vouchers, and accommodations.
