Burin Peninsula Health Care Foundation
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE VOCM CARES FOUNDATION
SEPTEMBER 12, 2021
On September 12th, 2021, we, at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Foundation, along with our many friends and supporters on the Burin Peninsula, will be doing our best to make the Burin Peninsula Health Care Foundation Radiothon a record milestone for health care in our area.
This year, in light of COVID19, the challenges are greater than ever. At this time, we are not clear on the format of this fundraiser, as the Chief Medical Officer’s decisions are updated regularly in response to the ongoing health crisis in our province. However, we do plan to move ahead and therefore, we kindly ask for your support.
If you would like to forward your donation, please let us know if you would like to schedule a time to present, whether virtually or in person, depending on the regulations. Your support will be greatly appreciated. If you are part of a group or organization that would like to offer active support during the Radiothon, such as answering telephones, or, if you require assistance with a fundraising venture, please feel free to call us at 709 891 3456 or email at [email protected]
We look forward to having YOU become a part of our annual Radiothon again this year. Your donations will continue to support residents on the Burin Peninsula, including our centres in Burin, St. Lawrence, Grand Bank and Boat Harbour. We sincerely look forward to hearing from you again on September 12th, 2021!
In spite of challenges with the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, you heard us and supported local health care initiatives on the Burin Peninsula. Together, we raised over $141,000 on September 28th, 2020.
How Can I Help?
WAYS YOU CAN SUPPORT OUR RADIOTHON
Even during the COVID-19 Pandemic, you can continue to support local health care centers and patients on the Burin Peninsula safely and easily.
Raise funds with friends and co-workers throughout the year to donate during our Radiothon. Start a Jeans Day Program at your workplace, collect recyclables at home or at work, or create a hockey pool.
These are all easy, socially distanced ways to donate and make a difference in your community, that are fun to do with your friends and co-workers.
