APRIL - SEPTEMBER 2021

This summer, you raised $18,271 while participating in the BP Trails Challenge and Hike Da Boot Challenge!  Thanks to your donations, we are able to purchase a Cardiac Transport Monitor for the Intensive Care Unit at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center.

Together, we are truly Caring for our Communities.

Hike da Boot, and Around da Loop.

319KM. ANYWHERE, ANYTIME.

This summer, we have a challenge for you!  Hike da Boot, and Around da Loop!

A virtual challenge for those living on the Burin Peninsula, or those wishing you could be back home.  Virtually walk, run, hike, swim (or even golf!) your way down the Burin Peninsula Highway to Marystown, past Garnish and Frenchman's Cove, around the boot through Grand Bank, Fortune, Lord's Cove, Lawn and St. Lawrence, towards Burin and back to Marystown again!

A grand total of 319km, done anywhere, anytime.  Track your own kilometers using your at-home equipment, fit bit, or whatever method works best for you.

Funds raised during our Hike da Boot, and Around da Loop challenge will support the purchase of a Transport Monitor for the Intensive Care Unit at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center, which will be used while transporting cardiac patients to our tertiary center in St. John's.

Registration is $40/participant, and includes a brilliant finishers medal, pictured here, which will be issued to those who successfully complete the challenge.  Waive the registration fee by collecting pledges with a $40 minimum sponsorship.  Sponsorship forms available upon request.

There are two, easy ways to register:
