Now more than ever, health care centres on the Burin Peninsula are experiencing increased demand from medical teams seeking to provide one-time and short-term support for patients. Patient needs can include:
– small equipment or personal care items
– assistance with travel and food purchases, especially for patients receiving cancer care, kidney dialysis treatments and those that must travel long distances to receive assessment (over 300km away)

The Patient Comfort & Care Program also supports residents at our long-term facilities.
